Sometimes you just gotta cry it out. Usually by the time I'm done crying I've let all my emotion about that particular thing out. After that, or if you don't want to do that, think about this: whatever happens, you'll still be alive tomorrow! Let it go. Something is bound to happen anyway, and it is likely that some people involved are just not going to be happy about it! Get outside and do something. Find your friends and get in your car and drive somewhere. Tell them you love them. Or get in your car alone, blast some music and drive somewhere. Drive or better yet walk to the most beautiful place you can think of. I'm sure you have a happy place. If not, find one. Go somewhere you know no one else will be. Where you can look in any direction and see a new beautiful thing. There is so much to do outside, and I'll bet the only time you're overthinking anything is probably when you're sitting couped up and doing nothing!

Side note: I used to overthink a lot, particularly last summer when I was not working and not doing much. It wasn't good! I sent myself into a mental spiral every single day. I realized that what I really should be worrying about is just staying alive and keeping my people healthy. My friends, my family and my dog. That's all that really matters to me in this world. Whoever else is not happy about my life choices can get ******!
