Wellbutrin xL 300 mg question?

Okay so for about a year I was on the 150 mg of Wellbutrin XL. However I started feeling blue again so my doc increased the dose to 300 mg now. I am still having periods of impulses to overeat. How much longer is it going to be in till this medication starts working?

I’m on Wellbutrin also just started a few days ago so can’t say much other than I don’t really feel any different at all
