I m thinking of getting a temporary job at USPS Or UPS, but some people said not to. They never worked there though. USPS sent a card in the mail about openings for drivers and got me interested. Questions I have; 1) are they flexible with college? 2) Medicare, dental, and vision available? 3) do I need to know the layout of the city or will they have gps? If not, can I bring my own?

USPS depends where you go . In a post office can work 9-5 or even 4am to noon. In a postal processing center they run 24/7 they call the shifts tours . Tour 1 usually overnight tour 2 is daytime. And tour 3 is evenings. Honestly met a few nice people but majority of people are Asholes. Pay is between 15 to $18 an hour . People do go school and work here but don’t expect any sympathetic treatment they only care about getting work done.
Temporary or part time employees do not receive benefits. Flexibility is not their strong suit. They need people to work certain hours based on volume and may not be able to work with a college schedule. That said, it doesn't hurt to apply.
UPS is a great company to work for. If you work at a hub, there are many shifts available so its easy to fit around your schedule. I worked at a HUB on the 10 pm - 2 am shift while I went to college. No benefits were available at that time though. I wouldnt expect benefits if you are working part time or temp.
