No, not at all, Love is to give not always to get or feel loved. Your partner too is an equal partner and keeping a balance will work and if the female partner is loving him more it doesnt mean that she is kind of submissive to her partner. Men and women want a lot of the same things from a significant other, but ... each gender needs from their partners to have a satisfying relationship. ... here if the female partner is more successful at making her male partner feel loved ... she definitely will get more love in reciprocal terms. After all he too is a person who has the desire to be loved by his significant other. No shame or no harm if you keep loving him more n more.

Being love partners both shall have to make best efforts to make each other feel "loved" coz its a 2-way thing to make the relationship work smoothly and last for long.

In my opinion its the basic right of the woman to feel "LOVED" and the efforts should be put in by the male partner to make her feel "LOVED".

If he is the initiator and you just follow his instructions to please him most, whether you like his actions or not, it could be called submissiveness.
