Okay, so look. I really want the iPhone XR. And MetroPCS has a deal that if you switch from another phone service to them you’ll be eligible for a $599 iPhone XR. If i were to suspend my current account and open a new account with Metro, will I be eligible for that offer?

Depends on the details of the promotion. For current customers, how long do you have to be a former customer, before you can be considered a new customer? For MOST carriers, you need to have stopped being a customer 45 to 90 days BEFORE the start of any new promotion. For the details on this for MetroPCS, you will of course need to contact customer service, to see how long you need to be a former customer, before you are eligible for current or future promotions.
