If you've been in MN more than a summer, then you KNOW about the winter cold, and should know how to make sure your car runs.
1. You buy an oversized (capacity) battery. The biggest one that will fit in the vehicle. If it costs $200, so what. BUY it!!
2. You install an engine block heater.
3. You have a quality battery charger.
4. You park in a structure overnight, if possible.
5. And of course, keep a QUALITY set of jumper cables (heavy copper wire, not aluminum) IN your vehicle at ALL times, and KNOW how to connect them. No negative cable (the last of the 4 connections) to the frame or bumper or body. It needs to be an engine bracket, away from your battery area.
6. There are battery heaters, which can keep the capacity of the battery high in the extreme cold weather.
The freezing temperature of a fully charged lead-acid battery is around -75°F.
The freezing temperature of a mostly discharged lead-acid battery is around 32°F.

Wait for the warmer weather. And it might be time to invest in a block heater and trickle charger.

I prefer not to start my own vehicle unless it's an emergency any temperature lower then -15 degrees Fahrenheit.
