I'm past menopause and I can for sure say that the sex drive goes way up!
Why is that? Estrogen and progesterone levels drop and her testosterone goes up (yes, females have testosterone). Next, she doesn't fear getting pregnant any more. My life long girl friends and I compare health notes and we all agree that the sex drive increases a lot.

"The vagina is a 'use it or lose it' thing.” The act of having intercourse stimulates blood flow to the vagina and keeps it healthy. In all fairness, I would say that the reality of sex after menopause is vaginal dryness. To overcome this painful reality and to have a healthy, comfortable sex life after menopause, lubrication is the key

Don't forget.....there are always variations....vibrators with lube, oral, massaging, mutual masturbation....lots of stuff.

Most women do NOT avoid sex after menopause! If anything, she craves it more than she did before menopause, because she no longer has to worry that she might get pregnant.
