Christmas in Budapest?

So my my girlfriend has always wanted to go to Christmas markets in Budapest. An I want to use this to my advantage to finally pop the question.

We have been together for 9years now and think it’s time to get down on 1 knee.

My question to anyone that has been there, is where is romantic? What can help make this little getaway special for her ? I don’t want to get down on one knee in front of thousands of spectators as that’s not me and certainly not her, as she hates the attention.

Fisherman's Bastion could be good during a time when there aren't a lot of tourists. A more private spot may be the Labyrinth http://labirintus.eu/en/ beneath Buda Castle. I've been there when there was no one else
