Are the concept of demons different in Japan compared to the ones in the United States?

Demons in Japanese anime and manga (like Yu Yu Hakusho and Inuyasha) are nothing like the way that demons are portrayed in American cartoons and comics.

Demons in Japanese animes and mangas seem to be more like monsters and wizards, while demons in American cartoons and comics seem to be more like devil-like creatures.

Christianism accepted the concept. Some sects of Northern Buddism accepted the concept, too, and transmitted to Japan through China. In Japan, it was treated as one of ideas.
In the Japanese thinking process, there is not the concept of demon which european think.

By the way, I cannot understand that US citizens hate Iran like a denon. Iran is one of the mother countries of european thinking process. We, Japanese respect Iranians.
