Aisha cut the heads off two kittens and offered them to Muhammad as a sacrifice which M accepted, so I'd say he probably feels the same way about cats as he does dogs.

In Istanbul, a Muslim city, there are thousands of (wild) cats that people care for because they take care of the rat population often a major problem in port cities.

Well. Clearly a must for cat lovers. Filmmakers did a superb job of following a few particular cats and their daily lives in this very large, busy city. They also made sure, as often as possible, to show what kitty life is like from a cat's perspective in a very noisy, crowded city, with lots of human feet to negotiate. I liked the accepting interaction the residents of Istanbul have with these various cats. I am sure not everyone is happy about sharing their world with cats, but, honestly, we don't need to see that. A large variety of people there, in all kinds of occupations and situations, are clearly quite happy with sharing their world with some pretty plucky little felines. Cinematography is quite lovely and the music is wonderful. The movie takes it time, but I found it quite mesmerizing to watch.,,,from Netflix
