I managed to find the question, and my answer is still there, it was not reported or removed or disliked. Perhaps a glitch?

Well since you have your Answers Profile on Private I cant take a look to see if its on there
If you dont see it on your Answers Profile then the Answer was Likely Reported and Deleted

Answers don't appear in your question list. They appear in your ANSWER list (here /activity/answers) If the answer you submitted is not showing in your "My Answers" list, then assume either your answer was reported and removed OR the question you answered was reported and removed.

Because answers go on your answer-list, not your question-list

If the question was deleted for any reason, it will not show.
