I think you are inquisitive and have an exploratory mind. That is what you are doing, you know, "exploring" each room of each house. Notice how you describe them; beautiful, unique, big, little, different, etc. You don't like being bored, so you keep hopping around, from one thing to another, "pictured as houses" in your dreams.
