You can only delete them if they have no answers. Click on 'Edit' beside your question and then delete it.

Deleting your Yahoo account won't affect the question. It will still be here, just not associated with an account. You can simply change your identity to the Anonymous feature, and accomplish the same thing (no one will know who posted it).
If a question has any answers, it can only be removed if enough users report it as a violation. It should be standard knowledge for anyone using the internet, to NEVER post something online that you aren't okay with being online forever (because you never know who will see it and capture that image or where/how it will be cached, to be found months or years down the road.

Questions cannot be deleted by you, as soon as it has even 1 answer.
All you can do now.......is maybe report the question, with a bunch of sock puppets, and HOPE it gets taken down. Or ask 5 of your best contacts here, to report it.
Or, post a new question, with a link to the question, asking for people to please report.

That will still not remove the question.
According to the rules you agreed to when you created your account, everything you post becomes the property of Yahoo so you cannot delete it.
You would be deleting other peoples answers as well, which is hardly fair on them if they have put any real effort in to an answer.
The purpose of the site, according to it's original info, was something like "Building a searchable dictionary of useful pre-answered questions". That can't work if the questions are deleted..
