This job wont pay me for training?

I was working this job that took me two hours to get to. My training took 3 days and i finished it and one day on the field by myself and i didnt like it so i quit. I was giving out phones to people who are on welfare and gave out roughly around 4 phones. I returned all the phones back to work and the boss said he wasnt paying me for training and only for the 4 phones i gave out which is 40 dollars.  He claims it was part of some contract that was signed but i dont think that applies to the training. I feel betrayed and deceived because he told me id be payed for training the day before on the following week. So now he says all imma get is 40 dollars. Can anyone explain to me why this is necessary???

It cost money to train someone.   So in your case, they trained you, but you quit.  So this employer lost money on you since you did not want to work for this person/company.

My guess there is a contract that you signed.  If not, then you can file a complaint with the state department of labor for the 1 day of training.

Because some people are like that, next time get all the conditons, including any pay down in writng and both you and the manager sign it.

No not without reading what you signed. You could contact the labor board in your area and make a complaint.
