Does anyone know which fruit is this? Pen for scale?
When I hold it, it has a slightly rough texture, and it feels as though it’s soft and fleshy but firm on the inside.
My uncle gave it to me, but didn’t say where he got it from. He told me it’s a ‘mini apple’ but I’m not sure if he pronounced the term properly and I therefore if that is the correct spelling. I’m from Trinidad, by the way, but I’ve never seen or heard of this fruit before. It seems ripe, but I’m skeptical to peel and eat it before finding out what it is.
