Anyone know what happened to Lowell Scott Gates, the drug abusing son of the late LAPD Chief Daryl Gates after he died? Is he still alive?
There were all kinds of articles about Lowell Gates using drugs from his teens until he was at least 48 (B. December 27, 1955). I know he survived his father's death in 2010, but I don't know if he ever got his act together. Once his father was dead, he was no longer newsworthy and stopped appearing in the news.
