Also, don’t things come to North Carolina anymore like Game Show-esque things, or why can’t local news stations in North Carolina stay out of the politics, and why can’t there be any news like Coca Cola or NASCAR anymore or report live from places like The Fresh Market anymore? Like remember 107.5 KZL and Murphy in the Morning? Or “Let’s go to Emerald Point Water Park,” Or Fuddruckers or Rock-Ola Cafe? Or remember when North Carolina (pre-HB2) had things like Karaoke at the Mall, or silly commercials like “Southeastern Furniture Warehouse?” Or, remember when it had people like Jessica Simpson coming to places like the Cloverdale Kitchen In Winston-Salem on occasion, or John Daly arrested? What is North Carolina coming to? Why can’t we be less political, and more like our past?
