How should I deal with my dog please give me any advic?

I have a dog, she is a yellow lab german shepard mix. I got her when I was 11 and I have had her for 4 years now. I love her a lot but she just has been a lot of trouble lately. For as long as we’ve had her she goe absolutely crazy when she sees another dog, she sounds so mean but when she gets close to the dog she just cries. One time we brought her to the dog park and she did a loud high pitch cry the whole entire time non stop causinh people to leave, people said it was very unusual and they have never seem a dog act like that. This causes problems because we live in a city so on nice day people go walking with their dogs, so going outside to let my dog use the bathroom is difficult at times. She also has jealousy problems with our other dog. She also is aleays eating cat litter which is causing her bowel troubles. She hasnt had a regular bowel movement in about a week. All of this makes it really harf to want her, but I love her because shes like my baby and I cant imagine getting rid of her its just that shes a lot of trouble. Any advice would help. We have tried everything with her barking nother has worked, (pinch collars, muzzles, harnesses, mouth harmess, electric collar.) we also brought her to a trainer which didnt work because she would not stop her extremely loud high pitch bark, the trainer told us to go to the farther back behind everyone so people could hear better. It was a terrible experience. Please give any advice. Is it possible she has a mental disorder?

re train your dog in that case

The reality is the every dog, like every human, has their unique personality traits. It is the responsibility of the owner to train and socialize the dog. Your family didn't do that. As a result, your dog's nature fear or wariness of other dogs has been established. What can you do? Get private training lessons and work with your dog every day on that training. Also, move the cat litter for crying out loud.

If you family is unable or unwilling to train the dog, you either have to deal with an antisocial dog and the ramifications of what might happen or you surrender the animal to a shelter and hope someone will be willing to take him. He is adorable but if he is unpredictable and or aggressive, he won't get a new home.

You need PRIVATE sessions with a good trainer, not a group obedience course. Group courses are not for dogs with "problem" behaviors that disrupt the class, they're for normal dogs needing general obedience training. Your dog sounds very anxious around other dogs, I'm guessing she was not properly socialized as a puppy and adolescent. Do not take her back to a dog park, she's likely to cause a fight. Additionally, exercise, exercise, exercise. The more exercise she gets daily, the easier she will be to train and manage.

You also need to put your cat litter box where your dog can't get to it. You can put it behind a closed door with a cat flap installed or baby gate with a cat-sized opening, or there are a variety of cat boxes designed to keep dogs out that you can choose from. Some are top-entry, some have little hallways into them that a dog can't fit down, etc. If your dog has not had a normal bowel movement in a week, you also need to take her to the vet. Cat litter can cause digestive blockages that can be life-threatening if consumed in a sufficient amount.

I don't think she was properly socialized when she was younger or properly trained now. You have not Obedience Trained her or she would be more calm & obedient. Ya know, lots of people have dogs that they don't know anything about. It's just a dog. It can be far more than just a dog.
