Where is the transmission dipstick of Toyota sequoia 2008 5.7l 4WD located?

Hello
Good day. Writing from Scandinavia but truck is in Africa.I am not able to locate a dip stick to check my transmission fluid on my sequoia 2008. It now has 97, 818 miles. Wondering if I have to change the transmission fluid. The truck has not been used for towing just normal driving on asphalt and ocassionally on unpaved roads.

There is no mention of changing the transmission fluid in the maintenance booklet except if one tows. I don't tow

Dude, you need to take it to a dealer. You haven't maintenanced the car, have you?

Many cars today do not have a dipstick, they are profiled and sealed. ihave a Citroen and Peugeot , no dip stick, and the transmissions were manufactured in Japan. So it is not a French thing.

Maybe it is like my Saturn--no belly button. On my Saturn, there is a fill hole very buried under hoses, wires & pipes. But I was able to get at it using tools. No dipstick at all. You loosen a sight plug on the side and some fluid should flow out. (engine off).

doesn't have one. more than likely its checked through a drain or fill plug on the pan. should be a youtube video on it to walk you through it

A logical and intelligent owner would go to the Toyota website and download the owner's manual. It will have an illustration as well as a maintenance schedule.
