When I registered a death I said that the body was to be buried, I have now just seen that the person wished to be cremated.?
Does it matter that the death certificate says the body is to be buried?
Does it matter that the death certificate says the body is to be buried?

What ignorant society records the proposed manner of disposal on a death certificate? The death certificate confirms the legal cause of the death, it has nothing to do with what happens to the body. If you have some stupid jobsworth insisting on recording how the body is to be disposed of before the family has decided, tell him/her where to go.

"Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return to GOD who gave it" (Ecclesiastes 12:7).
"But GOD giveth it a body as it hath pleased Him, and to every seed his own body" (I Corinthians 15:38)!

A person can know many truths about the great benefits of buying the dead if he recites the rosary each day with care.
