Muhammad Ali is the Most Famous Athlete Ever more than Soccer Players.?

I think Ali is the Most Famous Athlete ever even more than Soccer Players all time his name is mentioned more than Soccer Players he can be regarded at times as the Most Famous Person however I doubt that but he's up there I don't hear Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi coming close to being the Most Famous Person in the World at all but I hear a great deal of Muhammad Ali so my Top 5 Most Famous Athletes of All Time are

1.) Muhammad Ali
2.) Cristiano Ronaldo 
3.) Pele
4.) Lionel Messi
5.) Michael Jordan

This is all time because now obviously Ali isn't known as much because Boxing isn't Popular anymore but back then Ali was the Most Famous person ever until Michael Jackson came along

Pretty good, I'd mostly agree, but I'd say the top 5 are more like this.

1. Ali (he is the most famous ever, and easily.)
2. Michael Jordan (was perhaps bigger world wide than you realize)
3. Pelle (definitely the most widely recognized footballer of all time. In fact I'd go so far as to say way more than  Ronaldo.)
4. Diego Maradona (I'd say world wide, this guy is still likely the 2nd most well known. Zinedine Zadane is probably almost as well known as Ronaldo.)
5. Mike Tyson (he was a killer when he was young, everyone knew him and what he looked like.)

Then you could start listing footballers and few tennis stars such as Federer I'd say. Tennis is a pretty world wide game. Id say Ali world wide is still the most recognized sports figure, even today, because if you ask an older person from Africa or India or Korea who he is, even they will know in most cases. That's how well known he is.
