What do you think about this Greenland controversy?

Do you think this is a real intention or just some political move?
Do you have another idea about what it may be?

I don't see why it's even an issue. Denmark said it's an absurd idea. That's the end of it. If Trump wants to spend billions of dollars then it would be much better spend improving our infrastructure, giving citizens universal healthcare, or even giving our space program a massive shot in the arm. There are hundreds of things that the money would be better spend on than buying territory we don't need.

Giant building contractors are maneuvering to win the best contracts in anticipation of the purchase. Denmark is trying to drive a hard bargain but once they see the money on the table the sale will be complete. Trump will make this highly profitable for high ranking Danish politicians. I envision a city like Las Vegas springing up overnight.

I plan to move there and be part of the economic boom.

Trump is so stupid to think he could waste taxpayers money by trying to buy it.

Sounds real to me. He canceled his upcoming visit to Denmark because of Denmark declining to sell. Apparently, that's why he set up the meeting in the first place -- to approach Denmark and make an offer to buy Greenland.
