I saw a mouse in the kitchen tonight. My mom was already asleep I was the last one awake. My mom is sick and sprained her toe, so she is in a bad mood. And she is afraid of mice. I don’t want to piss her off first thing when she wakes up by telling her about the mouse. But I don’t know how to get rid of it myself. And I don’t want to let it keep living in the house doing what it wants. What should I do?

You should tell your mom. Maybe not first thing in the morning, but just casually mention it at some point during the day.
As for helping to get rid of it; Go threw your pantry and throw out anything that has holes in it. Any left open cereal boxes, any bread leaves with mysterious holes in the corner. Anything in soft bags. Anything a mouse could have possibly gotten into. Thoroughly clean the kitchen area and any room you typically eat it. Whip and bleach everything. Basically get rid of any potential food source for the mouse. If they're not getting food, then they wont want to be there.
Also, while you're cleaning, check under sinks and in corners, try to find some spot that they might be entering it from. If you find potential entry points, bring it up to your mom as they'll need to be properly sealed.
Other then helping to keep the home super clean, there's not much you can really do. You're mom will have to decide weather to call pest control, or if she wants to try and trap it herself.
You should tell your Mom and get pest control involved too, because Mice 🐁 will put disease around your house 🏡 and it will be very very bad for real, my friend.
