Why does my tablet reboot itself when the battery gets "low?"?

I have a Samsung galaxy tab A and have had it for about 3 years now. For the last while now, when I watch videos, if it gets to a certain point on battery life, even as high as 60 percent, but usually around 30-40 percent, it will reboot itself. It's incredibly frustrating and I can't figure out why. Everything else runs just fine. But it seems to hate videos. Help?

The battery gets weaker over time and does not hold the charge.3 years is a good term for LI-Ion battery.
You have two choices :
1.keep tablet plugged-in when watching video
2.buy new battery. It will be good for next 3 years.

The battery may be just reaching that point you might consider replacing.
I have a brand new device, on external power, battery is 100%, but this new android does this silly thing of randomly rebooting, maybe a few times a week. Online in the middle of things and PFFFT. Might be some odd app responsible.
