Good water filter for heavy sediment?

Have a well at a camp with clay and sulfur in the water. Due to the light overall usage of the site, repairing the well simply isn't cost effective. I don't mind having to boil the water, but that doesn't have an impact on the sediment in the water. I tried a standard Brita filter system, but it seemed like the clay gunked it up fairly quick.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a more effective filtration device?

Pro Pure makes a gravity fed unit similar to the brita.

What makes this unit better than the brita is the filter elements are cleanable and last up to a year.

Also, this is the ONLY filter with verifiable independent laboratory test results that are published right on the website.

Fixing the well IS as cost effective as a separate filter, if for no other reason than conneting any filter that will handle your needs to the well IS repairing the well.
