How many times would a police baton have prevented the loss of life recently, where a cop's bullet actually ended one?

Where is their de-escalation training? Where is their training to deal with people in a mental health crisis? and where is the responsibility on the part of individual officers, to say it's not only up to their training but also their common sense?

Or a taser or mace or any other NON-LETHAL option?

What is their discretion in the field for, if they're just robots who are supposed to exactly follow their training and nothing else?

Friend there is a product you can purchase on eBay called wildfire pepper spray it comes in a 16 oz can. It's not even as powerful as Fox labs. They say some people are immune to pepper spray. I say horse crap to that. you get shot in the face with something that's hotter than Carolina reaper peppers and your eyes are going to close and you're going to fall on the ground coughing and choking. If I ever have to use that stuff on somebody I'm going to blast them with it full in the face. I'm not standing there to see if it's going to be effective. I'm going to run from them to get more powerful weapons. I guarantee you that I can take you down without killing you with my 12 gauge full of airsoft. If that doesn't work the next one. Is armor-piercing incendiary!

It is impossible to answer your question without a specific example.

Because you asked a very general question, I will give you a very general answer. If an officer is facing a deadly threat, it is met with a deadly threat. Being stabbed by a mentally ill person is just as deadly as being stabbed by anyone else.

If that doesn't answer your question, then you need to give more details.

ZERO. The only robot in this question is the one posting it.
