The PSVR system is really quite good, and there's also other things you can do with it too, like the 360 youtube videos
There's also quite a few games you can get for free via the PS store to try it out with
If you get one, try and get the controllers too

Get the PSVR. It is well worth it if you approach it with logic. What I mean by that is don't expect perfection. VR gaming is obviously new and this is only the first generation of vr headsets. You can sometimes see individual pixels, but you do very much utilize depth perception unlike if you were looking at a flat image on your TV. The PSVR headset if by far the most comfortable one, except the wires can be annoying, so it's important you let them hang down behind you and then push the wiring on the ground off to the side. There are plenty of fun games. And it's more on the game itself to provide a great image. Here They Lie is eye aching to look at, but Fairpoint is not. Ease of controls also depends on the game.

Since Sony is currently developing their next gen vr headset, I would recommend you buy a used one and use it to determine whether or not you enjoy vr gaming and will invest in their improved 2nd gen vr headset. I know they improved ventilation to prevent you from sweating as much and condensation building up, be wireless, and have eye tracking functions, even though I am not sure what purpose that will serve for gaming....Show more
