I really love my family, but I feel like I need a break from the for a while.. it’s nothing personal, but I feel like they’re crowding my space.. he wants me to go to Boston, so we can have some type of holiday party, but I don’t want to go because I don’t want to see them for now. So how can I just tell him hey, I don’t want to see them as of right now?

Try to balance what your dad and your family (who love you, no doubt, and value your company) want with what you want. Why not go along with the Boston trip, but plan a vacation on your own or with friends next year some time?
