happened to me once, my whole
bed seemed to be shaking in the middle
of the night
then i shut my bedroom window because
there was a strong breeze and the shaking
was gone
or it may be a friendly spirit just visiting
?
It does when I crank up my Sybian. Report me please, I couldn't pass up making a joke. =)

Yes, I used to think I was either going nuts or that someone was using a massage chair in the apartment below me. As it turns out, the beating of your own heart is strong enough to cause this effect. And while it is very freaky, there is nothing you can do about it. Unless you have other heart (cardiac) issues going on, you should learn to ignore it. Wearing headphones and listening to music helps a lot.
