How do I tell a girl I’m interested in her?

Question

For starters, I’m a 25 year old man. There is a young woman probably early-mid 20’s that i think is very pretty and “my type.” I really have only spoken to her briefly (while she’s at work) when I am shopping. A brief bit about myself is I really don’t have a TRuE dating history, mostly  because the girls I really liked I couldn’t bring myself to tell them. Anyway, I have no idea if she’s single, married, interested, whatever, but I’d like to know. How can I go about this? She’s a store stocker of groceries if that makes any difference. Thanks in advance.

Walk up with a swagger.  Say Excuse me miss, I am looking for Toomoosta Soup starter.  After that it will probably be an hour conversation on day care and her husband.  Then you will know.

You can say something like "hey, I haven't had much opportunity to talk here at work and you seem like an interesting person. Can I buy you a cup of coffee after work?" (or a beer). Ther ya go.
