Why did IKEA pay $50M to the families of three toddlers killed in dresser tip-overs, but not the fourth who died in 2011?

If IKEA gave that family money, and mind you they already came out with the recall, then they could gave the family with the fourth child incident money as well. Why not. If IKEA gave the families of the later incidents money why not. Perhaps those families should have known wiser too.

By that time the RECALL was in effect.
Plus, a person has to be kind of dense to not fasten "tip" sensitive furniture to the wall.

After the first incidents, the dressers were the subject of a safety recall, and provided special anchoring kits, free of charge.
The family of the fourth child heard about the recall and the anchoring pieces, but they decided not to bother. In this case, IKEA, and the judges who were assisting them with the case decided that the parents were entirely at fault.
