some people think your "quantum weirdness" could indeed play some kind or role, or other, in human consciousness.  which would sort of go along with what you're asking about

then again, it could just be that people want to use quantum mechanics to "explain" consciousness, simply because both things are mysterious and impossible to understand, and so it's easy to make the intuitive assumption that... they must have something to do with each other.  and who knows, maybe they do.
