2002 Taurus not starting Need help to identify the problem my car not starting for 6 or 7 days now?

Recently I have got my starter change about 6 months ago and about like 3 or 4 weeks ago I changed my oil,battery and headlights everything was fine but my car would not start unless I connect the Cable coming from the battery to connect to the starter I had put it on it started no        problems but when I asked this guy to completely put it on it work but he made my check engine light come on now for about a week now it’s not starting at all and in during that week my car had stalled on me 3 times and I had to push on the gas to keep it running the lights and radio and stuff come on but not starting no sound at all when turning on and when I turn my car to the on positions the gauge  lights come on except the check engine light could it be my engine, alternator or starter ?

" I connect the Cable coming from the battery to connect to the starter"?  The hot wire is a temporary fix to the starting problem.  There is an issue with the ignition switch, the start relay, the park neutral switch, the ECU (if it has something to do with the start system in your car) or there is a wiring problem.

Key ON, check if the Check Engine Light (CEL) is ON.  If the CEL is not ON, there is a problem with the ECU power and ground connection or there is a shorted sensor or a bad sensor ground or the ECU is bad.  You need to see a very good mechanic who troubleshoots using wiring diagrams and a dealer level scanner.  Good luck.

It could be one of many things to include an incompetent mechanic and driver.  Since you've blown a lot of cash on stuff, find a real mechanic and have them figure it out. It isn't your engine, starter or alternator .

Might be spark plugs.
