Is It Safe to Mix 2 Different Hair Color Brands?

I'm NOT mixing 2 colors... They are the same exact color, but they are different brands... One is just a regular Black Hair Dye and the other is Black Hair Dye with greying control in it. Is it safe to use both together??

Because people (meaning Sur La Mer) who've tried to answer my question jump WAY TO FAR OUT OF THE BOX... Here's what I'm intending to do... I'm NOT trying to get a darker black by mixing 2 boxes, I simply have way too much hair for 1 box, so I need 2. I just mistakenly bought different brands and want to know if it's safe to use them.

They are made by the same company but they're different lines of dye. Personally I like nutrisse as it doesn't drip. Even though they look like the same color, you may not get the color you want by mixing them together. Use one or the other. Do a strand test first if you've never used box dye before. Also read and follow the instructions properly.

No, they will have different chemicals in them which may badly react if mixed together.

From a safety point of view, I can't see an issue.  For the resulting color, that's on you.
