IDK.  I quit watching when they killed Carl off.  Until then, it seemed like the story had an arc, that it was going to be like Breaking Bad or Fringe with a clear beginning, middle, and end.  When they killed Carl off, it became clear that wasn't the case, that it was just a soap opera.  When I heard they killed Rick off, they may as well have gotten out a bullhorn and blared out, "YUP, YOU WERE RIGHT!"
