Do they let more than 10 persons in at Macy's Midtown Manhattan store?

In my unheard of neighborhood in Brooklyn they do not allow more than 10 people in the store at a time. Is this policy based on the percentage of the capacity or a safe number?

If in fact this were true, this rule would have been written for you personally - since it would be very difficult to find any more than 9 people who would want to be around as delightful a person as yourself.

No, they don't let in more than 10, or 10, or even 1. They let in zero. Macy's Midtown Manhattan store is closed. They don't let in any customers into the actual store. (Some of the restaurants still have takeout and delivery.)

I'm sure that the guidelines issued by your government are in the local newspapers and available online. Where I live, the number of people allowed is a percentage of the normal capacity, as determined by the square footage of the store. Then people are supposed to use common sense to space themselves out in the store. I'm a little surprised to hear that Macy's is open at all, I'm in one of the southern states that's opening up, but what we're told by the news is that we're ahead and states like New York aren't opening at all yet.

You could call the store and ask.
