It's normally safest to call a high street pharmacy and ask the pharmacist about medication interactions. Edit; even doctors mess up medications. I was mis-diagnosed with epilepsy after a rare medication interaction caused tonic clonic seizures. When an epilepsy medication was added to my regular meds the pharmacist took me aside and explained her concerns.
