P450 drug inducer/inhibitor?

If two drugs share the same metabolic enzymes (ex. CYP or UGT), do they help one another or suppress metabolism of both?

for instance, if drug A is an inducer of Enzyme A, which drug B also uses in its metabolic pathway, will drug A help or reduce drug B's metabolism?
