Three weeks ago, my older laptop exploded while I was close to it, so after throwing water on my face after having disconnected the laptop from the power socket, I grabbed the phone, dialed 911, and asked for EMTs and Fire Department to respond.

I got taken to hospital for 1st and 2nd degree burns to my face, upper chest and lower left arm. The fire resulting was small, and they only had to cut out about a square meter or burnt carpet.

Both emergency services responded with high speed in their arrivals, and in the quality of their support services.
