hello i need to have a pull start recoil replaced on a edger its really OLD dad bought it 20yrs ago what can i expect to pay$ to fix? thanks?

Look up some local repair operations.  I usually just fix those myself but if you're not familiar with the process it can be a bit daunting - the spring can go every which way.

I wouldn't expect it to cost more than $20 or so, plus parts.

just buy a new one.  it'll cost the same or even less.
