Western Union Money question?
Need to find out if my full last name is needed as a sender of cash at a local WU location to my husband who lives overseas? The problem is that I live in California & he lives in Azerbaijan for the time being. I'm Armenia & he's an Azeri which are enemy states so neither citizens can cross borders for both countries as they will be arrested & basically with my Armenian last name ending of "ian" (last name is Vanian), he will get in deep trouble if he gets reported by the Wu/bank employee after noticing that he's receiving $ from an Armenian (enemy). I need to send him $500 tomorrow. If my name is Anna Vanian, I want to send the cash as Anna Van instead so it won't be obvious that I am Armenian based on the 'ian' ending. 2 days ago a war began yet again between both countries so if it was risky for him to show any contacts in Azerbaijan with any Armenian before when there was a ceasefire for 25 years, now they can come after him (the local FBI) to question him why he is getting $$ from an Armenian (the enemy) as he will be seen as a local 'spy' for the enemy. I just created a WU app profile using my first name and Van as my last name, but it says that I need to bring my cash and my ID, so now tis got me worried as the employee in Azerbaijan can see that he's getting $ from Vanian. Is there an alternative to sending only cash to him because if I put my bank info or Paypal, I'm Vanian everywhere.
