Installing 12x24 tile quesrion?

I have a wall that is 98” long and I want to install 12x24” tiles 3’ up on the wall horizontally.   Can someone help me with how to cut the tiles so the will be staggered maybe about 1/3 each row?   If I install 4 - 12x24” tiles in a row it will leave a small 2” piece I will have to cut on the end.    How can I space it so it looks good and not have to cut 3” pieces on each end?    Thank you for any help you can give

Better measure them,  I doubt they are 12 inch by 24 inch.  They probably are smaller than that.  What I did was use a contrasting tile to fill in the extra space.   I put a three inch piece on one side and a three inch piece on the other side and left all the big main tiles uncut.

cutting tile is normal.  how to do that depends on what sort of tile ...   -grampa.  the ceramic kind requires a wet saw and patience

cut a tile in half so it is 12 x 12 and start the row with it, then continue on and the last tile will be cut 14 x 12  to finish off the row.   Second row start with a full tie which will put the seams exactly in the middle of the previous row, this row will end with a 2 " tile but the 3rd row will be done using the 12 x 12 you have left from the first piece on the first row,
