If I only make bill payments with cash or money orders can a creditor still find out what bank I use?

There is always a trail - someplace.

Most creditors can't do anything with your bank account without a court order anyway - so what does it matter.

If a creditor wants to try to collect a debt from you, they are going to just take you to court and the judge will order you to pay the bill.  It is usually set to repay at a certain percentage of your income - even if you can't afford that portion of your income to be taken.

A creditor can NOT take money out of your account without your permission or a court order - so knowing your account does not matter.

They can always find out where you bank.  It might take a month but, it isn't usually difficult.

No . . . that's how criminal does things. They use cash in order for people not to be able to back track them.

WOULD make it harder, but not impossible.
