My boyfriend and I are starting college at different schools 2 hrs apart we wanna rotate wkends at each place how do i ask roomies about it?

We want to spend the weekends together since the drive is long which means he'll be staying at my place every other weekend. How should I ask my roommates (who have never met my bf) about this? I don't want them to feel obligated to say yes, or feel like they can't be comfortable in their own home on weekends. How should I approach this?
