I applauded their response to White's hate speech. A literary agency should be welcoming to all authors who have a marketable manuscript to sell, but White's words made a certain segment of the population and their allies feel most unwelcome.
No, I'm not in the group White spoke out against. But hate based solely on who a person is, not on their actions, is always ugly and should not be tolerated.
