Why do people think Minion Memes aren't funny?

I love looking at them on Facebook, but my son says that they aren't funny at all.
I don't understand how anyone could think this, because all of my friends like them and believe they are funny? Is it because my son doesn't have a Facebook?

Fun fact: Why are there No female minions? Because the creators really didn't fathom that female minions would do the stupid things that the boys do.
