Try to induce a "brain freeze" by eating ice cream or drinking ice water.  This seems to help a lot of migraine sufferers.

find a good accupuncture specialist
the sessions will spread over a month
but you will be cured in the end

migraine is in a different category of headaches - in fact, we often treat headaches and migraines as separate entities.. a true migraine should subside by sitting still in a dark, quiet and slightly chilled room.. complete darkness and complete silence often do the trick in 'true' migraines, which means, no phones, no computers, no TV, no smart devices, no music, no talking and no singing for about 30-60 minutes.. and some may advise putting cold bottle of water over your head and neck.. and if you managed to grab a quick nap - it would help tremendously..

Tension Headaches is also in its own category, it is the product of mental stress, physical stress or both, and often associated with sleep issues.. the pain from the headache somehow affect the back of the neck and shoulders.. and this tension headaches is treated by reducing stress (good luck in that), by taking plenty of rest (like a long vacation or off days) and by talking about your fears and stress with your trusted friend, family member or a $300/hour therapist..

if the headache last more than a day while following the above recommendations, then you need to seek help at a local clinic (GP or a family doctor clinic).. a large number of medical conditions are associated with headaches, for exmaple: high blood pressure (hypertension), eye-related issues (usually means that you need to wear glasses or change the prescription on your glasses), infections (like Sinusitis and meningoencephalitis) or even a mental health disorder (like anxiety, adjustment and mood disorders)..
