Question to Yahoo Answers Mediators ?

Under what circumstances would my answer be removed (yet it shows as answered) so I cannot edit to continue
my response to a question I asked the individual for further clarification, just so the question could be promoted, truly what would be the reasoning behind hindering my response?

@Peter dear, I answered the question last night & up to this morning it was in my answers list since I checked if the individual answered my questions, which the person did but at that moment, I didn't have time to edit my answer based on the person's response to my questions. Now this afternoon when I had sometime, I tried to do just that, but behold Yahoo Answers disabled my ability to edit my response by completely removing it. Do note when I said promoted, I meant it's now seen on
discover.

any knucklehead here,  with Multiple accounts  can remove any answer at will.

This troll-stalker will have accounts  with names like  Troll-1, Troll-2, Troll -3 and so on.

They can then report you one time, with each of those accounts.......finally reaching the magic mystical number needed to remove your post.

Violation or not.

I have such a stalker doing this to me DAILY.

There is no rhyme or reason to it.............just some deranged loser who's fixated on me.

If this were the real world, I would get a restraining order....and hire security guards, because this loser probably wants to break into my house, and try on my underwear and be me for a day.

He's completely and totally deranged.

Yahoo Answers is a Community Moderated forum. That means EVERY user here has the ability to report a post they feel is a violation (even if it isn't a violation). There are no employees of Yahoo reviewing the posts on the site or moderating the behavior of the users here. The system is automated so human eyes will only see your "deleted" post if you appeal its removal (then someone will review it to ensure it did not violate any Community Guidelines or Terms of Service).
.
Posts are removed when enough users report them as violations. You can post again here and ask "Was this answer a violation" and include a link to the question you were answering, or the text of the question, the exact text of your answer, including any URLs or images associated with it, and the users here will tell you if it appears to be a violation or not. If not, you have 7 days to appeal to have it reinstated.

"Mediators?" Seriously dude?
What makes you think there's a single person giving the slightest piece of crap about this site nowadays? When the asker of the question picks a best answer, the option to 'edit' your own answer disappears. Why? Because of alien activity, your guess is a good as ours.

Yahoo Answers Staff does not Moderate the Boards the Community Moderates It

If you cant Edit your Answer its not that it was Removed its Due to a Best Answer was Picked for it when that Happens you can not make anymore Changes to It

You did not answer the question. That is a violation. If you can not answer, you are to skip the question. You can answer the best you can and add "more info will get you a better answer". This rarely works and there are some questions so bad, you can not even guess an answer. Lastly, there is no "promotion" on YA. The poster must reask.
