I was a very fussy eater when I was a child. My son is also a very fussy eater. I feel my mother's frustration now.

They both know how to go into the kitchen and fix something else if they don't like what's on the table. I'm not going to get into a battle of wills by insisting that they eat something they don't like. It's a waste of energy. All I ask is that they clean up after themselves.

Hey great, more for me; but my kids will literally eat a loaf of plain bread if that's all that is in the house (and they probably eat the whole thing and ask for more).

Indifferent. I'm used to it now.
