I have high blood pressure, high cholesterol and heart issues......?

So does that mean I’m going to have to be stuck eating bland food the rest of my life?

You should have given a little detail on your heart issues.

As to the high blood pressure and cholesterol, these are easily fixable without medications. You just need to drink more water than you do and cut out soft drinks, coffee, other types of water substitutes.

Your body is trying to tell you its thirsty.

Blood is 94% water. When you don't drink enough it loses around 8% of its water volume, causing it to thicken. This increases the workload on the heart and the blood pressure goes up.

As to the cholesterol, again when you don't drink the water you should and the blood thickens, it damages the walls of the arteries as it is pumped through under a shearing pressure.

Cholesterol is then produced to cover and protect the damaged tissues like a waterproof bandage until they can be repaired.

The reason medication is prescribed is that medications can't correct dehydration (the cause) and so the thickened blood continues to create damage. Medications lower the amount of cholesterol, and this exposes the damaged tissues to more damage, which the body has to defend by producing more cholesterol.

It's an endless cycle with the pharmaceutical companies coming out on top.

Increase your water intake - but do NOT lower your salt intake. Salt does not cause high blood pressure. Dehydration does, as stated above.

No.
There is medicine to regulate blood pressure AND cholesterol.
Blood pressure medicine you take in the morning and cholesterol medicine you take at bedtime.
There's plenty of spicy foods. A lot of spices and pepper are beneficial to your health.

No.  You could be stuck eating delicious, nutrias and flavorful foods that include all kinds of herbs and spices that are not the least bit bland.
